Backend

cd server → copy .env.example to .env, set JWT_SECRET → npm.cmd install → npm.cmd run dev (health at http://localhost:8787/health).

Optional: OPENAI_API_KEY (+ OPENAI_BASE_URL/OPENAI_MODEL) for LLM analysis; STRIPE_SECRET_KEY + price IDs for real checkout. Without them, the heuristic engine and mock checkout keep everything working.

Extension

cd extension → npm.cmd install → npm.cmd run build → chrome://extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked → extension/dist.

End-to-end test

Sign up in the Account tab → Save tab: paste a Facebook Ad Library URL → Extract → Save → Library → Analyze → Create tab → enter your product → Create My Version → export CSV/PDF.
